2017 Kia Soul turbo engine power and performance
The Kia Soul has gained a significant amount of popularity due to the sporty and stylish nature of the car. Kia has just increased the fun factor of the Soul with an all-new trim level. The 2017 Kia Soul turbo engine power and performance will set this trim level apart from the other members of the Soul lineup.
Kia Soul Turbocharged Engine
At the heart of the new Soul Exclaim trim level is a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine gives drivers access to a zippy 201 horsepower. This is 40 horsepower more than the Soul’s base 1.6-liter engine. Even with the added power, the fuel economy ratings on the Soul do not suffer. The Soul Exclaim will earn 28 miles per gallon combined fuel economy rating.
In addition to the turbocharged engine, the Soul Exclaim comes equipped with several other upgrades. The engine is paired with a new 7-speed dual clutch transmission that helps to maximize performance. Several stylish exterior accents have been added that add to the sporty nature of the Soul’s design language. The new model comes equipped with 18-inch wheels, red-accented body trim, chrome grille surround, a special Soul tailgate badge and dual chrome twin-tip exhaust. The Soul Exclaim is available in two new exterior colors.
Interior features included on the Soul Exclaim include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, push button start, UVO3, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, dual USB ports, a Harmon Kardon audio system and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Safety systems include rear cross traffic alerts and blind-spot monitoring.
