State Fair Meadowlands 
When: July 3 & 4
Distance from Budd Lake: 45 minutes

State Fair Meadowlands is the perfect place to go if you’re looking to make a day out of watching the evening fireworks display. The family-friendly event features rides, free entertainment, games and prizes, and delicious fair foods. For more information, click here.

Brookdale Park 
When: July 3
Distance from Budd Lake: 40 minutes

Love listening to live music? If so, Brookdale Park in Essex County may be the best place for you to watch 4th of July fireworks. The free event features live music, which will be followed by a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. And don’t forget to pack a blanket or chairs to sit on!

Seaside Heights 
When: July 4
Distance from Budd Lake: 1 hour, 45 minutes

The most infamous town in Jersey will be hosting a fireworks extravaganza to kick off the summer season on the 4th of July. Fireworks will be viewable from anywhere on the boardwalk, and attendees will of course have access to the rides and everything else the boardwalk has to offer.
