The 2017 Kia Sportage and 2017 Toyota RAV4 are each offered in multiple trim levels. Each trim offers a different collection of features. Three Sportage models are available, while Toyota opts for four trim levels. By offering fewer trim levels, Kia ensures each Sportage model comes equipped with a higher concentration of features and systems.
The 2017 Sportage lineup is made up of the LX, EX and SX Turbo trim levels. LX models start things off by offering 17-inch alloy wheels, LED running lights, automatic headlights, rear climate vents, 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, satellite radio and Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary connectivity.
Moving up the EX trim level will get you 18-inch wheels, foglights, heated mirrors, roof rails, keyless entry and ignition, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear USB port and the 7-inch touchscreen UVO infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The final Sportage SX Turbo trim level includes 19-inch wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, automatic highbeams, LED foglights and taillights, sport-tuned suspension, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and ventilated front seats. Many of the higher Kia Sportage trim level features are also available as added options on the lower models.
